Values
• Teamwork - In a letter to a championship team, Father Bray wrote: “You are not individuals greedy for individual honor,
but members of a team eager for team achievement.”
• Sportsmanship - Good sportsmanship does not diminish competitive intensity. Good sportsmanship can lead to an ideal competitive attitude.
• Balance - Each team member is also a member of his or her family, school, and community, and must fulfill responsibilities to them as well as dedicating
his or her efforts to sports.
• Life-Time Principles - The IOLANI ONE TEAM culture applies beyond completion of the athletic season and even beyond graduation from Iolani School.
